The tremendous rise in popularity that Cabo San Lucas has experienced as a travel destination has also led to a rise in the number of shopping options available in town. Cuban cigars are even available, although it is illegal to transport them back to the United States.

The nicest shopping area, and one certainly worth the short trip from Cabo San Lucas, is located in the area around City Hall in San Jose del Cabo. This Cabo shopping center is home to the finest Los Cabos has to offer in terms of jewelry, housewares, and folk art. All serious shoppers should spend at least part of a browsing day here.  

In Cabo San Lucas itself, the best shopping is along the waterfront near Bonita Marina.
